This quote sums up my approach to talking therapy well - that it’s not just for those with a diagnosable mental health issue, and can be an integral part of one’s self-care routine. Therapy sessions can be a space to vent, to access long-suppressed emotions, to say the otherwise unsayable, to work towards specific goals, to laugh, to cry, to try out new ways of being in a safe space.

I offer an initial one-hour trial session for £10, so that you can tell your story and for us to see if we connect well. In this session I can also tell you more about the process and what you can expect during therapy. We will also go through the practical aspects of our sessions together, such as what day and time we will meet, and how often.

Thereafter, my standard rate for sessions is £60 (individuals, one hour) and £90 (couples, 1.5 hours); however if this is not affordable for you we can discuss this during the trial session.

Remember - we take exercise to both improve and maintain physical fitness. Through therapy, we can improve and maintain our psychological health in the same way.
